Privacy policy

SplitSlip is run by Prediturk LLC, 9407 NE Vancouver Mall Dr Ste 104 #544, Vancouver, WA 98662. This policy explains what we collect when you use SplitSlip and why. We keep it short because we collect little.
What we store
- Splits. The receipt lines, amounts, the names people type in and who claimed what. Anyone with a split's link can see it, so do not put anything private in a name.
- Receipt photos are not stored. A photo is sent once to our AI provider to read the lines and is discarded as soon as the answer comes back.
- Accounts (optional). Your email, a salted password hash, your display name and the payment handle you choose to show (for example a Venmo username).
- A random browser id in a first-party cookie (
ss_vid), used only to count the 3 free splits a month and to know which splits you created. A session cookie keeps you signed in. - Payments. Viski Payments and Stripe (or Apple and Google in the app) handle checkout. We never see your card number. A payment cookie (
viski_pid) links your browser to your purchase. - Anonymous usage counts. Our analytics are cookie-free: we count page views and a few actions per day and per page. No IP address, user id or cookie is stored with them.
- Rate limiting. A salted, one-way, monthly-rotating hash of your IP address is stored with each split so the free tier cannot be abused by scripts.
What we do not do
- No advertising trackers, no selling or renting your data, no profiling.
- We do not read your contacts or your camera roll; you choose each photo.
Who processes data for us
- Viski (hosting, database, AI gateway, payments and email infrastructure).
- The AI model provider behind the Viski gateway, to read receipt photos. Photos are not kept.
- Stripe, Apple and Google, for payments.
- BestResult Partners, if you arrived through a partner link: we share an internal customer number and purchase amounts so the partner can be credited. Never your email or receipts.
How long we keep it
Splits stay until the person who created them deletes them or deletes their account. Account data stays until you delete your account. Anonymous usage counts are kept in aggregate.
Your rights
You can see, correct and delete your data. Delete a split from its page, or delete your whole account in Account. See how to delete your account. For anything else, email info@prediturk.com. If you are in the EU, UK or California you have the rights given by GDPR, UK GDPR or CCPA, including the right to complain to your data protection authority.
Children
SplitSlip is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
